In my younger days I had the The job of a lifetime. I was a Bartender / Hotel Manager with Quark Expeditions! I did 2 seasons (over 20 trips) to Antartica and 2 season in Svarlbard in the Artic. I cannot put into words what an amazing experience this was or what an amazing company Quark Expeditions is. These know how to do the Polar Regions.
Small Ship Expedition is the only way to do the Polar Regions. You can get up close and personal in way the big ships just can’t do. None of Quarks ships hold more than 200 passengers which means everyone gets ample time on Zodiacs and ample time out and about.
There expedition staff come for every corner of the world and have so much knowledge on the history, the wildlife, flora and fauna of these amazing regions
